I think we have had enough wind in February to take care of the March winds. Maybe March will come in like a lamb. I can tell you with two shows in February, we have all been like lions here. Thank you RV people for two great shows. We have met and sold the nicest people. Thank you for driving our distance. We do want to earn your business. You know we have excellent product.
Our shows were really good, but two within three weeks was very hard on the staff, so if we were dragging, I am sorry. The flu bug has been running around here, and we did not want to leave anyone out, so we have all been sharing that bug. I hope it is behind us and we can get ready for the spring weather.
We had customers scheduled for today to pick up, still from the shows, and they had to call in from the lower part of Georgia that they were snow bound. So we may all have some before old man winter goes to sleep.
We have received some more of those "baby travel trailers" it has been a very long time since I have seen a 16 ft. trailer. You asked for them and now we have them. It goes from 16 ft. to selling the new 40ft. and Terry has really been doing a great job with that model. If you have not seen those, they are really neat. I like the beach, so that would be perfect for there, but you mountain lovers, they work well there also.
We wanted to let you know our sales staff is taking appointments after hours for those of you like us that work all the time. So just email or call us we will be more than glad to work with your schedule. I normally work from 10AM till 8PM, so we are around to serve you all. And you can always call and we can arrange for you to see the units you would like to see.
Thank you again for all the great business from the February shows. We realize that shows cost money to attend. But we feel for you the customer, there is no better way for you to see all the brands in the market place and you can make the smart choice and get the quality RV unit that you deserve. I like to tell customers looking around to get a consumer guide and make sure that you purchase a brand name that is in the top five, better still in the top three. You deserve to have a unit that will last you more than some of the ones on the market that we call the "one year unit." The RV buyer today is well educated and can see where the quality is.
I hope I haven't bored you. I can't get my spell check to work yet, so excuse the mistakes and tune in again as we will talk more later.
Now get out there and enjoy God's creation, and go camping !!!!!!!!!

February 2008 Newsletter
Welcome, to the month of February in the RV world. We have a better name for this month, but I will not put it in print for all the world to see. I will say WOW !!!! what a month it has started out to be. We have two shows this month. We are coming home today from the first one, and next week we will be leaving again, to rock and roll , to the next show. Our first show opens the flood gates for the season to begin. THANK YOU !!! Greenville, and Carolina First Center and the SC RV Dealers Association for a WONDERFUL show. I believe every dealer will say it was the best we have seen in years. Fox network, thank you for the time you spent with us dealers on Sat. and Sun. We really enjoyed you filming all the units and speaking with us. Terry Masters, President of the SC RV Dealers Association had a GREAT presentation that was live on the air just after Super Bowl. What a great way to start 2008. By the way you did great, Terry. Like your sons say, you are all BS anyway.! And you really laided it on thick. Now next week we all head for Columbia, State Fair Grounds. We will present more new products there and all of SC will be represented. You will love this show. We know it is a bad week-end as you need to be taking out your Valentine that week-end, but just come by the show on your way to take her to a nice dinner. And let her talk you into a great RV. You know the woman makes the final decision on the RV, so guys you must look and let her have her way. Then you all will be happy. Let me tell you some new "things" that are out there this year. We have just received some "baby travel trailers", for those of you whom are looking for lite-weight small, SUV towables, we now have them in. They were one day too late for Greenville show, but we will have them for the Columbia show. You know show times with all the dealers competing it is the best time to purchase. We start our show prices one month in advance of the shows. Then on show dates the banks start with their good rates, so you the public have the best of both worlds. We are very happy to report that we finance nearly every one we sell now. We finally reached that level that we can get you the best rates, with little or no down payment. If you score 800 on your beacon, then let us quote you a good rate. We cannot be beat. The banks are finally realizing how great the RV buyer is and they want your business. And you know it is a tax deduction also. Let our finance manager, Dana Berry, show you how to do that. I figured it had been so long since Terry had blogged, that I would make up for it, and I would try to help him out. Let me brag a little, you know that is how all Mama's are. We have both our sons helping us with the business now, and they are running rings around us old timers. Lewis is in charge of service, and Daryl is in charge of sales. They are both better than we ever were at it. You will love meeting and speaking with both of them. Lewis is at the Greenwood location and Daryl is at the Spartanburg location. So come by and see them. We really enjoyed seeing our customers in Greenville this past week-end. That is always a great time for us. You know we have customers that have purchased as many as 12-15 units over the last 38 years. So we do appreciate your loyalty. Your good word of mouth advertisement means the world to us. We thank you. I finally get to blogg and I have so much to say I am making this too long. So I will keep you better posted than we have in the past. More news later. Thanks to all our loyal friends and customers. You know you continue to keep us NUMBER ONE in South Carolina. And we really appreicate you. Enjoy God's creation, go camping. More later. email me at elaine@mastersrv.com

Well it is about time I got started with this new project. I hope to keep you informed to any items that may be of interest. First the 08's have started arriving, and already leaving. We will be receiving several new models the last two weeks of June, better hurry, the wait only gets longer until after labor day. I know everyone is concerned about gas prices, but I can remember when I was earning slightly over a buck per hour, and paid 30 cents per gallon so it may not be as bad as we think. We have had one of our best seasons in years, the campgrounds are full so camping is still a very good value, and it really means a lot for the family. I have been contacted by two prospective new campgrounds for ideas, and one new motorhome campground is already being built on Lake Greenwood. good news! so keep 'em rolling.
